I have many great memories with my dad.
In the car rides we would have talks of life and people, in the woods taking our hikes & hunting. There are so many I have a hard time picking just one from many wonderful ones. But I believe the greatest ones are the ones we are making today as he is getting older and as am I. We look back together and remind each other of our fun times together.

I have so many wonderful memories with my dad, but I feel like holidays spent with him and my family are some of the best!

My Dad is everything. Never complains, always finds the bright side of everything, and loves me no matter how bad I mess up. ;)

I was very sick. My dad would call from work and ask about me. Making phone calls at work was a big no-no. He secretly made phone calls when no one was around. Thanks dad for loving me. Happy Father’s Day!!

I remember going camping with my dad. We went fishing and hiking. I would love to do this with my future children.

Father. A man who knows you’re always his little girl. Memories : we went camping one year in Baxter Missouri and got hit with a very bad storm. Dad kom me and my little sister were camping in one of the campsites close to the lakeshore. Dad came and woke us up and we had to go to a motel to wait out the storm. When we returned our tent was submerged blankets were wrapped around a tree trunk couple miles down the lakeshore. I remember getting chocolate covered pretzels at the circus and riding the elephants with my dad. My dad is my hero and it’s hard to shop for the perfect gift. I wish Good luck to all contestants!

My fondest memories were going to the beach with my father and family in the summer on weekends.

My dad passed away when I was 16 years old, but I was the one who was with him those last couple years of his life. I learned so much about him during long talks driving different places or while we cooked in the kitchen together. Our favorite things to cook together were stir fry or fried potato chips. I always think of those as major dad type foods now! We would watch movies together and talk about life. He would tell me the trick to the SAT was to answer C if you didn’t know the answer. Not sure that was true, but any tips from dad are welcome! He would say the little things are what matter most. And it touched me that he always kept the cards I made him as a kid where I wrote silly poems such as “My favorite color is yellow. You are quite the fellow. Happy Father’s Day”
Dads are the best!

My favorite memories with my father seem to be the stories my siblings and I tell over and over again. My absolute favorite is one that comes up and always gets everyone laughing. When we were children, he would let us sit in his lap while he used the pedals and we could steer the car, but only on our neighborhood street. One time it was my turn, and I tried turning the wheel…it wasn’t going the direction I intended (probably because we had just turned into the neighborhood and the wheel wasn’t straight) so I figured maybe car steering wheels work opposite. I turn the wheel the complete opposite direction and my dad for some reason still used the gas and we drove into the grass and started going up a hill. Oops!! I was moved to the passenger seat and he took over getting us back on the road and home. But my siblings never let me live it down! My dad, though…he still was the one to take me to get my learners permit all those years later and insisted I get behind the wheel then as intimidated as I was. I love his constant encouragement to get me to do the things I’m too scared or intimidated to do and when I mess up, he’s never one to play the blame game. Its incredible. He always deserves to be celebrated.

My wonderful Dad has been gone 13 year this month and a day does not go by that I don’t think of him and the memories he has left with me. He raised three great children including myself. We lived in Dublin, Ireland when I was a child and I spent so much quality time with him as my Mom was an Airline employee. We really enjoyed each other and I helped him around the house and in the yard. The best part of this story is we had a family owned candy store down the street from my home and we would walk there and he would get me a special treat. I can remember the types of candy at this little store and how excited I was to get to go there with him. Love you forever Dad.

My little family has been giving my dad gag gifts as a tradition for fathers day. Always something to do with Sasquatch because my dad is a tall mountain man. However, One of the best memories i have with my dad is when i told my father i was pregnant (i was 17). He was my biggest supporter amongst my family and ALWAYS made sure i had what i needed. Growing up, I came from a family who didnt always have much when it came to being able to get nice new things, but my dad made sure i did. He is all the time visiting with my daughter and has been helping teach her her shapes, numbers and letters. My dad truly is my hero, because he stayed close when everyone else drifted away. ❤️

My favorite memory of my dad is going to the auto parts store! He would always buy me a pop and a candy bar. He treated like a princess when we were together.

I have so many great memories of going to car shows with my dad! From small local ones to well-known large ones, we’d have so much fun looking at all the different classic cars! The one I love most was a local one when I was 9, and I convinced my dad to last-minute enter his Mustang he had at the time… and he ended up getting Best in Show!

My favorite memories with my dad were getting to go with him to feed the cows and getting to ride in the back of the truck while he drove.

My Dad gave me my first driving lesson when I was in grade school. Best day ever until he walked me down the isle at my wedding!

I have many memories of my father, one is every birthday he waits hieden for me to wake up and he gave me very nice hugs full of happiness!!!

My favorite memory with my father is anytime just the 2 of us are out we do something fun like go exploring, get ice cream, go to an art store, or something more and I always get told not to tell my siblings so it makes it extra special.

A favorite memory of my partner/father to my kids is him teaching my oldest how to swim and now the little one to have fun in the pool.

My favorite memory with my father is him teaching me how to tie my shoelaces and how to ride a bicycle.

The best memories I had with my father was going to hobby shops and hearing his old stories of his time in the national guard.

My favorite memory with my dad is the many concerts that we have gone to together. On these outings, I have gotten to share with him my love of trying new foods and visiting craft breweries before the show.

My favorite memories with my Father is as a small kid we occasionally went to arcades and I watched him play or played along with him. One game we played was a driving one and I helped him drive the car while sitting in his lap.

One of my favorite memories is when I got to go with my dad on the road for take your daughter to work day. Not only did I get a day out of school but I was able to spend a whole day with just dad and learn what he did for a living.

Kind of hard to pin point a genuine “favorite”, but as I’ve gotten older it would have to be the memory of seeing him and my son create memories together. I was a “teen” mom and also single mom but lived with him until my son was 7/8 (he will be 10 this year). They have created a bond like no other so much that I overheard my son telling his friends “My grandpa knows EVERYTHING!” They have a bond beyond what I could’ve ever imagined and I’m SO thankful that they have gotten to experience each other! While in school he would pick him up twice a week or more sometimes and they always have a McDonald’s stop after school and buy apple pies to take home as a treat! I am a daddy’s girl to the core and I would have to say the greatest memory over all is getting to share what an awesome father my dad has been to me but amplified 100 TIMES as a grandpa to my son!

Changing a tire!

Much love to all the dads, especially those that have stepped up to the plate for other’s children. My fondest memory with my dad is him teaching me how to throw a softball and all the patience he had. Needless to say, I do not throw like a girl lol

My favorite memory with my dad will always be whenever we go visit the ranch, and fix the things that need to be fixed and hang out with the pigs and name them by all of our cousins 😂❤️

When I was a young kid, my dad was the parent who watched us most evenings. My favorite memory with my dad was when we’d go out to rent movies. It was always more fun just going somewhere with him than it was to watch whatever it was we rented.

I went to college 3000 miles away and he called me every Sunday

My dad is my best friend. He has helped me move more times than I can count. He always takes me fishing when ever I ask to go, and is always the life of the party cracking everyone up. He’s taught me that hard work, honesty, and compassion can get you really far in life.

I have fond memories of camping with my dad when I was younger.

My favorite fathers days were barbecues in the backyard followed by various yard games like bocce and cornhole, we still try to do these every year but things are busier nowadays.

My father has pasted but I remember going fishing, had to get at 4 in the morning. Being his only child & a girl most of the ‘important’ talks happened when fishing. He tried his best &then some.

My Dad teaching me to drive, with a stick shift no less, he had such patience!

One of my favorite traditions with my father is to go to local community yard sales every summer and spend the whole day walking, laughing, and shopping. It’s something we’ve done since I was a child and we continue it even into my adulthood.

When I was younger my dad took my brother and I fishing. My dad is a big time fisher and hunter!

I love my dad so much he deserves something sweet for Father’s day.

My dad and I had a tradition of going to a car show every year, so we could show off our cars. We haven’t gone in the last few years due to varying reasons but I loved getting that bonding time with him. Looking forward to when we can go together again.

I loved learning how to do all types of housework and projects with my dad – he’s the ultimate handyman! He also knows how to thrown down on the grill!

I loved summer time with my father, he would come home from work and pack up a big picnic supper for all 7 of us kids, and he would take us to our favorite place on a small mountain in Woburn, Ma. Called Rag Rock I always called it the top of the world! Because you could see most of our city up there !

Mom tells me the story all the time, my dad used to cut trees for a living and would hang my carseat in the tree with he and I’d sleep while he cut down linbs.

I loved going to work with my dad in the summertime. I visited all the car shops with him and eating lunch out together was a special treat.

My best memories with my father is walking to the candy store to buy may favorite chocolate bar and eating it while we walk back home.

Our Fathers Day tradition is to take a picnic lunch out to the lake, do some fishing and then come home and play board games. We sometimes will also bbq in the evening. We always try our best to make dad feel so special and appreciated.
